MY EXPERIENCE IN THE POLYTECHNIC IBADAN

My experience at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, as an HND 1 student in the Department of Public Administration (Form Number: F2400099), has been far from palatable. While I came in with high hopes for academic excellence, leadership development, and personal growth, the reality has often fallen short. From infrastructural challenges to slow administrative processes, I have encountered difficulties that tested my patience and determination. The delay in result processing, inconsistent academic calendar, and lack of timely communication from departments have made the academic journey more stressful than necessary. These issues not only affect academic performance but also dampen student morale.

Despite these setbacks, I have remained committed to learning and contributing meaningfully within the institution. I have taken on responsibilities and tried to inspire fellow students to remain focused and hopeful. However, I believe that a better system can be built one where students do not have to struggle unnecessarily for the basics of academic support and information. With the right reforms and leadership, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, can truly live up to its name as a leading institution of learning.
